The 15-Lesson Programme
That’s my proposal to you: to take you from nothing to something. From knowing no Maltese at all, to being able to understand, communicate, and participate in everyday life in Malta.
Maltese is a bilingual society. You know it, and I know it. Everyone speaks English. But wouldn't it be nice to walk into a room and let the conversation continue naturally in Maltese, without feeling left out? Wouldn't it be nice to say more than just “please” and “thank you”?
I will need your commitment. I will need you to study, practise, and keep showing up. But if you do, I promise to provide a clear roadmap, a structured course, and a proven method that has already helped hundreds of my students reach basic speaking proficiency in Maltese.

Native Fluency?
We don't need native fluency (although, if you stay with me long enough, we can certainly work towards that). What we need first is a solid foundation: enough Maltese to prove to our spouse, our nanna, our neighbour, to ourself, that we tried and we did it. That Maltese is noy only useful, but genuinely enjoyable to learn.
What this is
I am proposing a journey of 15 carefully structured lessons. A method that has been tried, tested, and refined through hundreds of my students. Together, we cover the essential building blocks of the Maltese language in a logical order, giving you the tools to express your own thoughts, ask questions, understand everyday conversations, and navigate life in Malta with confidence.
My proposal is different from the traditional approach. I don't throw random topics at you and hope something sticks. We won't spend one lesson memorising colours, another memorising family members, and then move on without understanding how the language actually works. Instead, every lesson builds upon the last. Grammar, vocabulary, listening, and speaking all work together to create a foundation that lasts.

For years, I have been helping students from around the world learn Maltese (as well as English!). From complete beginners and foreign residents in Malta, to members of the diaspora abroad reconnecting with their Maltese heritage, I’ve tutored them all. Having studied and worked internationally (Tokyo, Brussels, Kenya, New York), I understand both the excitement and the challenges that come with learning a new language and adapting to a different culture.
What I have realised is that many learners struggle to pick up Maltese becuase there simply is not enough organised and professional material out there. I change that. I have both the material and the method to deliver the Maltese language to you - in a fun and intelligent way.
Since 2018, I have taught thousands of lessons to students from every corner of the globe and have become one of the most experienced and prolific language teachers online.
